ChemDirect - Customer Experience Coordinator 

ChemDirect is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to handle administrative tasks relating to logistics, the backend of the platform, finance, sales, and customer service.  The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. 

 

You will spend an average day engaged in task-based activities to help improve the experience for both suppliers and buyers on the platform.  While completing these activities, the ideal candidate will create efficiencies within the current structure.  ChemDirect is a fast-growing well-funded startup, there is opportunity to expand this role and move into others within the growing organization.

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Logistics

    • Tracking orders

    • Working with suppliers and transportation partners on shipments

    • Problem resolution with transportation partners 

  • Platform

    • Upload one off products / SKUs for sale

    • General support e-mails from website

      • Coordinating internally and externally 

  • Finance

    • Manual updates to existing processes

  • Customer Service Functions

    • Helping supplier / buyers navigate site

    • First of line defense on all phone lines

    • Product questions on website

    • Update, disable, price on SKUs

    • Answer misc. questions from suppliers / buyers

    • Help new buyers / suppliers create accounts

    • Manually place orders where necessary / order creation

    • Engage in problem resolution for buyer and supplier

    • Manage reoccurring orders

  • Sales Functions

    • Reach out to suppliers with bulk request when buyer requests

    • Assist on parts of supplier set up process

    • Prospecting and reach out to setup sales calls

    • Work on buyer and supplier re-engagement goals

What You Bring 

  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about creating the best customer experience possible

  • Great planning, organizational and thinking skills

  • Experience in client / customer facing roles

  • Experience with Microsoft office systems
